1.1 Sportpools.net is a trade name of Speerstra Media, hereinafter referred to as Sportpools.net.
1.2 These terms and conditions apply to each game (hereinafter “pool”) organized by Sportpools.net.
1.3 Participation in a pool at Sportpools.net is possible until the deadline of the relevant pool. The deadline is stated on the site at least 2 weeks in advance.
1.4 Sportpools.net is entitled at all times to amend these terms and conditions without prior announcement or subsequent notification. A revised version of the terms and conditions will be posted on the site as soon as possible, stating the date of the amendment.
1.5 Sportpools.net acts in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Betting and Gaming Act and the Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance.
1.6 The data collected by Sportpools.net in connection with participation on this website will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1.7 Dutch law applies to the pools and these terms and conditions.

2.1 A minimum age of 18 applies for registration on Sportpools.net. When awarding a promotional prize, Sportpools.net or one of its partners may request proof of identity, such as a copy of a passport or identity card. This will be used solely to prevent fraud and enforce the age restriction and will under no circumstances be stored.
2.2 Someone who has registered on Sportpools.net is referred to as an end user. An end user is a natural person, and participation on Sportpools.net using multiple accounts is not permitted.
2.3 Only one registration is permitted per email address. Only one prediction per registration may be submitted for each pool.
2.4 The end user will be asked whether they wish to receive the periodic Sportpools.net newsletter. The Sportpools.net newsletter is sent approximately fifteen times per year. The end user may unsubscribe through each newsletter received.
2.5 The end user will be asked to agree to the terms and conditions. This is a required field.
2.6 By agreeing to the terms and conditions, you agree that your chosen username may be used for the publication of the various pool rankings on Sportpools.net.
2.7 Our privacy statement applies to the personal data collected.
3.1 A subleague is a collection of end users who participate in a game on Sportpools.net.
3.2 Sportpools.net offers games relating to sporting events. To participate in a game, a participant may register for:
3.3 Winners of prizes offered by promotional subleagues will receive notification by email from the partner of the relevant promotional subleague within 30 days.
3.4 Participants in a promotional subleague must reside in the Netherlands or Belgium for the entire duration of a game in order to qualify for a prize.
3.5 Winners of prizes in pools organized by third parties through the Sportpools.net platform fall outside the responsibility of Sportpools.net.
3.6 Prizes cannot be paid out in cash. Each prize is personal and therefore cannot be transferred to third parties. If the winner does not wish to or is unable to accept a prize in the form in which it is offered, the right to the prize will lapse.
3.7 Sportpools.net is, where applicable, responsible for paying any gambling tax due on the prizes awarded. This applies only to general pools organized by Sportpools.net itself and expressly does not apply to pools organized by third parties through the Sportpools.net platform.
3.8 The awarding of prizes is subject to the condition that Sportpools.net and/or its partners are not required by law or court order to stop offering prizes.
3.9 Employees of Sportpools.net, including partners and/or sponsors, may participate in a game on Sportpools.net but are not eligible for any available prizes.
4.1 Sportpools.net, the sponsors and/or advertisers involved are not responsible and cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage, in any form whatsoever, arising from or resulting from the games on Sportpools.net or the systems underlying Sportpools.net.
4.2 All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights and other rights relating to the content and design of Sportpools.net, including images, text, layout, sound, other materials, sponsor messages, advertisements and communications relating to the game or its sponsors or advertisers, as well as the related software, are owned by Sportpools.net, the sponsors and/or advertisers involved.
4.3 If Sportpools.net believes that an end user has acted contrary to its terms and conditions or game rules, Sportpools.net has the right to block or delete the account of the relevant end user without stating a reason.
5.1 Sportpools Reclamevrij is a paid service that removes advertisements within Sportpools while Sportpools Reclamevrij is active.
5.2 The price of Sportpools Reclamevrij is €12.99 per year, including VAT.
5.3 Sportpools Reclamevrij is paid in advance for one year and is then automatically renewed annually, unless automatic renewal is disabled before the renewal date.
5.4 The user may disable automatic renewal at any time through their account. Sportpools Reclamevrij will then remain active until the end of the period already paid for. No further charges will be made after that.
5.5 If the user has a statutory right of withdrawal, this right may be exercised within the statutory period.
5.6 Sportpools may change the price or terms of Sportpools Reclamevrij for future renewals. Changes will be announced in good time in advance.
